• Hounslow to trial UK’s first autonomous road delivery vehicle

    To date, most of the attention regarding autonomous vehicles has been has centred on driverless cars and buses, but now the London Borough of Hounslow is claiming to be first off the grid to trial autonomous electric delivery vehicles on its roads.

    The onset of the Covid-19 coronavirus pandemic and the accompanying shift to near-universal remote working in March and April of 2020 left security professionals scrambling to address the transition in record time, according to statistics published by cyber professionals association (ISC)².

    Inrupt, a startup launched by World Wide Web inventor Tim Berners-Lee, has developed an enterprise-grade version of its decentralised web technology, allowing businesses and government organisations to build applications that give customers and users greater control of their personal data.
