How to Load Books on Kindle?

Kindle is a series of e-readers developed by Amazon which allows users to download and read books, magazines, newspapers through wireless networking to Kindle store. Below are the steps to load books on Kindle through two methods, i.e., USB and wireless:

Procedure to Load Books on Kindle:

Method 1: USB Connection

Step 1: Visit the page “Manage your Kindle” on amazon. Log into your Kindle account.

Step 2: Scroll down to the “Your Orders” option and now click on the plus sign lying beside the book which you have purchased. Tap on the option “Download to Computer” and save that file on your computer.

Step 3: Connect your Kindle to your computer with the USB cable which came with your device.

Step 4: Now, click on “My Computer” and then tap “Kindle” folder. If the folder is not present there, then search for it in the drop-down menu that is located at the top of window.

Step 5: Tap on the “documents” folder. Now copy your downloaded file into this folder. You can see the book on the home screen.

Step 6: Disconnect your Kindle device safely from your PC by selecting the eject icon and tap on “Safely remove Hardware.”

Method 2: Through Wireless

Step 1: Switch on the wireless on your Kindle. Tap on the “Menu” button on your Kindle. Then, click on the option “Turn Wireless On”. Now, leave it open until you finish the file transfer.

Step 2: Now, navigate to the page “Manage Your Kindle”. Sign in to your Kindle account.

Step 3: Now, navigate to option “Your Orders” and now tap on the books which you have purchased. Push the option “Send wirelessly to Kindle” and the book appears on the home screen.
