One other highlight was playtesting a Analysis Strategies Sport, which was developed by the Centre for Excellence in Studying & Educating at Manchester Metropolitan College. The sport is designed to teach students about different analysis methods, and requires you to work in pairs to design research methods for a fictional research challenge. I didn’t really know something about theoretical perspectives or epistemologies before enjoying (!), so I found it very useful and it actually gave me a very good understanding of the theories involved.
